Mission statement:
To directly benefit children in crisis situations by providing crisis responders with basic necessities, such as diapers, wipes and a change of clothes.
Who we are:
We are Patty & Tami, the founders of The Diaper Sack! Both of us are mothers of two young boys that have everything they need and then some… Over the course of several years we talked back & forth about starting a non-profit organization that would benefit the most vulnerable of our population –kiddos. However, we are separated by thousands of miles making a partnership next to impossible –until a late night brainstorm when Patty thought of The Diaper Sack! Through a gracious gift by Patty's mom – The Diaper Sack is off the ground.
What we do:
We provide Diaper Sacks to various different crisis centered organizations including homeless shelters, battered women's shelters, social workers and first responders – including police officers. Each sack contains 4 diapers, a small package of wipes, a small package of diaper rash cream and a new onesie or t-shirt
